Paws for Miles rescues dogs from sometimes deplorable conditions, in terrible health and needing nothing but love and attention. Our dogs are pulled from some of the most remote kill shelters in Kentucky and breeders who would otherwise discard them.

Ohio is the second worst state for commercial breeders, due to our state legislation.

While the rescue starts the dogs on a path to their new life, our fosters are life changing! Being fostered in a loving home allows the dogs time to decompress, adjust and learn. Fostering increases a dog’s chance of adoption 5x! The dogs are happier, healthier and more socialized, making them better candidates for a forever home.
