Paws for Miles partners with Kids Thrive

Paws for Miles and Kids Thrive have partnered together to add an additional dog to their Pet Therapy program.

Nora just recently passed the test and will continue to train to become a therapy dog for children ages 3-10 years old with a mental health diagnosis. She is already enjoying the “hard” work.

"Pet Therapy: Trained pets are incorporated into the group and individual sessions to assist children with decreasing depression or anxiety, improving self-control, and building social awareness. Interactions with the animals assist children with becoming more comfortable in the environment and calming down when experiencing stress."

Paws for Miles is thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community in such an important way.
